Welcome to the Painted Wind Ranch
The Painted Wind Ranch is located on 450 beautiful acres that has been in our family for five generations. We strive to raise quality working Paint and Quarter horses and are very proud of our accomplished stallion, Strait Gunsmokensugar. Known to us as "Buddy," Strait Gunsmokensugar is a 7 time APHA title holder, including World Champion in Steer Stopping and Reserve World Champion in Heading, Healing, and Working Cow Horse. Buddy has earned 876 open APHA points and over $54,000, and was an NRCHA Snaffle Bit Futurity finalist as a three year old.
